Introduction to Literary Analysis (Core B)
Louise Leonard earned her B.A. in English Education from the University of North Florida, her Master's in Library and Information Science from Florida State University and has completed 18 additional hours of graduate study in English Literature at the University of Florida. She has been a teacher for over 20 years in public school, private school, charter school, and college; she realized a few years ago that she has taught students from every continent except Antarctica. Her favorite teaching position, however, was the blessing of homeschooling her own daughter from grade 3 through graduation. Working with other homeschool parents during that time really gave her a heart for the stress and anxiety so many parents feel as well as the desire to use her own skills to alleviate some of those worries. She has been married for 26 years to her husband Roger and has one daughter, Anastasia, who is currently attending FSCJ for her A.S. degree in Business Management. She then plans to transfer to the College of Central Florida where she will pursue her bachelor's degree in Equine Management with the end goal of owning her own stable. Like most of us, Louise doesn't have a great deal of free time, but when she does, she enjoys attending the Church of Eleven22 with her family, reading, thrift store shopping, and taking care of her family's two dogs, one cat, fish, turtle, and six hens.
